RHINOPLASTY

(NOSE SUREGRY)

The surgery could be conducted for cosmetic or medical purposes, such as better breathing. The procedure can be used to improve the bone, the cartilage, the skin or the nose, or even all three of them.

EAR LOBE

REPAIR SURGERY

A swollen earlobe can be red, uncomfortable, and painful. The typical causes of earlobe swelling are infection, allergies, and trauma. While most earlobe injuries can be treated with over-the-counter medications and home remedies, you might want to see your doctor if your symptoms are really severe.

EYE LIED SURGERY

The procedure done to reconstruct or repair the eyelids is known as blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery. The process usually includes the removal of fat as well as excess skin and tissue. This is the process that is used to rectify upper eyelids that might be drooping too much or high level of puffiness under the eyes. While in many cases, blepharoplasty is done to reduce the signs of ageing, in certain cases, drooping eyelids can hamper vision.

FACE-LIFT SURGERY

A face-lift (rhytidectomy) is a cosmetic surgical procedure to create a younger appearance in your face. The procedure can reduce the sagging or folds of skin on the cheeks and jawline and other changes in the shape of your face that occur with age.

During a face-lift, a flap of skin on each side of the face is pulled back, and tissues below the skin are surgically altered to return the contour of the face to a more youthful shape. Before the flap is sutured closed, excess skin is removed.

DOUBLE CHIN SURGERY

Double chin is medically called submental fat pad or jowls. There is excess fat accumulation in the chin and jowl area causing visible loss of contour to the mandible. Generally related to obesity, it may also be present in individuals who are not fat.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is facial plastic surgery?
When is it best to start facial plastic surgery?

It’s important for you to:

  • Be fully ready to make the physical changes.
  • Understand the treatment process and the effects they can have on your life.
  • Trust and feel comfortable with your facial plastic surgeon.
Will I be awake during surgery?

No. You will be asleep during your facial plastic surgery procedure.

We will give you either intravenous sedation or general anesthesia to help you sleep and feel comfortable. You will need to bring someone with you to drive you home after surgery.

Is facial plastic surgery painful?

After any surgical procedure, you can expect some discomfort.

Generally, the postoperative pain is mild and we can easily control it with pain medication. Many people need nothing more than extra strength acetaminophen, such as Tylenol, for two or three days after surgery.

Are there risks to facial plastic surgery?
How long will the procedures take?
  • Surgical facial cosmetic procedures can take a few hours.

  • Nonsurgical or office-based cosmetic procedures can take minutes.

we will discuss specific timeframes during your consult.

Can I go home right after surgery?
  • The type of and length of your facial cosmetic surgery.

  • The time of day you’re having surgery.

  • Your wishes. We can arrange an overnight stay if you prefer.

At DR AGGARWAL’S CLINIC, we perform most surgical procedures on a same day basis.

Several procedures allow patients to go back to work and resume their daily routine right away. Others require a longer recovery time.

When can I work out?

Depending on the facial plastic surgery procedure, you should avoid aerobic activities for at least two to three weeks following surgery. You will need to avoid all contact sports for six weeks following rhinoplasty (nasal surgery).

How long will the results of the procedure last?
  • Nose

  • Eyes

  • Chin

  • Ears

  • Jaw

  • Cheeks

Of course, surgery does not stop the natural aging process.

Nonsurgical procedures, such as Botox® or wrinkle fillers, may need some follow-up procedures months to years later.
